Dr. Gill achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minor in Psychology from Ryerson university. Upon completion, she attended Illinois College of Optometry where she pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree.
During her final year in Optometry school, Dr. Gill had the privilege to complete her externship sites at Omni Eye Services in New Jersey co-managing ocular diseases and surgeries. Her other externship sites included a Veteran hospital in Las Vegas and a private practice in Michigan that primarily focused on diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma cases.
She also had the opportunity to provide eyecare to underserved communities during a mission trip to Peru. Dr. Gill has gained valuable experience working alongside Ophthalmologists diagnosing and managing ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataract, macular degeneration, and various corneal diseases.
Dr Gill is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi, and is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and Ontario Association of Optometrists.
