Dr. Victoria Cadman is a University of Guelph graduate where she earned her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in 2015. During her time at University, she played women's varsity soccer with the Guelph Gryphons where she was awarded as a two-time Academic All-Canadian. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, Dr. Cadman continued her studies at the University of Waterloo, earning her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2020.
During her clinical internship at East Coast Eye Care in Newfoundland, Dr. Cadman earned valuable experience servicing rural communities with their ocular health and vision needs. She was able to develop her skills in the management and care of ocular disease including the management of dry eye disease. She then went on to complete a clerkship at Oakville Centre for Vision where she practised primary care with an emphasis on vision therapy and paediatrics. Through this opportunity, she developed a keen interest in vision therapy and the management of binocular vision conditions including amblyopia and strabismus.
Dr. Cadman is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and has a special interest in working with children and educating her patients with their ocular health needs. She grew up in Burlington and currently resides in the Ancaster community. She is a welcomed addition to the Ancaster Family Eyecare team. When she is not in the office, Dr. Cadman enjoys Italian cooking, travel, hiking and long walks with her German Shepherd, Kane.
