Dr. Vikram Singh has an honours bachelor of science degree from the University of Western Ontario and completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo.

While attaining his degree in optometry, Dr. Singh worked with a pediatric and binocular vision specialist during his clinical externships and continues to enjoy pediatric eye examinations and infant eye care to this day.

Dr. Singh also completed an externship at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, U.S.A. While at the hospital he learned how to diagnose, treat and manage chronic conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.

Dr. Singh grew up in Cambridge Ontario and currently resides in Ancaster, Ontario. He enjoys physical fitness and playing both basketball and volleyball.

Dr. Singh has been practicing in Ancaster for over 10 years and looks forward to helping you and your families keep your eyes healthy while managing any of your eye care needs.

Dr. Maharaj is a University of Waterloo graduate from the class of 2012. She obtained both her Honours Bachelor of Science degree, and her Doctor of Optometry degree while at Waterloo. 

Dr. Maharaj completed one of her clinical internships at a Veteran’s medical center in Pennsylvania, where she was able to develop her skills in the detection and management of various ocular diseases.

She also interned with Dr. Debbie Luk, Developmental Optometrist in Calgary, where she studied advanced Vision Therapy techniques. This helped her gain a keen interest in helping patients manage binocular vision deficiencies which can affect scholastic ability and affect learning.

She studied advanced therapy applications for concussion patients, helping with their recuperative abilities and regaining critical vision functions.

Dr. Maharaj is certified to prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents for the treatment of eye disease. She is a member of the Ontario Associate of Optometrists, the Canadian Association of Optometrists, and is an Affiliate Doctor with TLC Laser Eye Centers. She lives in Ancaster. Besides healing eyes, she enjoys hiking and gardening.

Dr. Maharaj loves working with children. She looks forward to caring for the vision and eye health of the families in the Ancaster community from infancy to adulthood, providing the tools they need to see life clearly. Dr. Maharaj has been practicing for over 10 years.

Dr. Julia Baltais is a dedicated optometrist with over a decade of experience in providing family eye care. She earned her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in BioMedical Science from the University of Guelph and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Baltais completed multiple externships across the Eastern United States including a Boston inner-city health clinic, a Veteran Affairs Hospital in Lowell, Massachusetts, and a busy ophthalmology practice in Miami, Florida.

These sites all had a strong emphasis on ocular disease management including pre and post-operative care. After graduating, Dr. Baltais returned to the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.

Her goal is to offer the highest quality eye care to her community by focusing on comprehensive eye exams and individualized treatment plans. Dr. Baltais resides in Burlington with her husband and two young sons.

Outside the exam room, she enjoys baking, hiking, canoeing, and camping.

Dr. Aisha Lillywhite began her career practicing in Muskoka after completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo.

She has developed a strong interest in glaucoma and dry eye management. During her clinical training in Fort Frances, Ontario, and Calgary, Alberta, she worked closely with specialists in binocular vision care, which sparked her ongoing passion for children’s eye health.

She continues to enjoy providing comprehensive pediatric eye examinations and infant eye care. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Lillywhite has volunteered with non-profit organizations such as CNIB Lake Joe and participated in a CVC mission trip to Malawi, providing eye care to underserved communities worldwide.

In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, horseback riding, and discovering new ice cream spots.
